A Tapestry of Memories: Our New Year's Eve Tapas Extravaganza 🌙

Hey Party People! 🎊 Krysta here, ready to spill the beans (or should I say oysters?) on our fabulous New Year's Eve fiesta guided by the magical Tapestry of Intentions. ✨✨

Kevin and I rolled back from our family escape, and guess what? Minoj and Vintee cranked up the glamour and culinary delights, following the blueprint of our Tapestry of Intentions: A New Year's Eve Tapas Experience Gathering Guidebook. 🏖️💫 Let me spill the tea – our dynamic duo went all-in to craft a night that was a symphony for the senses.

The festivities kicked off with our dedicated oyster shuckers going into high gear, meticulously preparing 150 oysters for a display that would leave our guests in awe. There were the clinking of shells, the scent of the sea, and the anticipation of a night filled with gastronomic wonders.

And before the main event, just the eight of us, we raised a glass of 2010 Dom Pérignon to welcome 2024. A little preview toast, you know, while we were still getting our ducks in a row for the main spectacle. 🥂✨

Oyster Extravaganza sourced through Pacific Wild Pick 🦪🎇 Picture this: a mesmerizing display of six types of oysters, each boasting its own unique charm. The Raspberry Point Oysters, straight from Prince Edward Island, Canada, delivered a salty, clean flavour with a sweet aftertaste that lingered on the palate. Blue Point Oysters, hailing from the United States, brought a briny and slightly sweet flavour with a crisp finish – a true taste of the Long Island Sound.

Shigoku oysters, cultivated in the pristine waters of the Pacific Northwest, offered a rich, briny flavour perfectly balanced with subtle sweetness and a clean, crisp finish. The Kumamoto, often hailed as the “Chardonnay wine of Oysters,” delighted us with its sculptured, greenish fluted shells and uniquely palatable sweet flavour.

Live Kusshi Oysters, sourced from the cold, clean waters of the Pacific Northwest, proved to be the ultimate indulgence with their delicate flavour, buttery texture, and distinctive appearance. Last but not least, Beau Soleil oysters from the cold waters of Miramichi Bay, New Brunswick, Canada, showcased a mild flavour and sweet finish, making them a perfect choice for both seasoned oyster lovers and first-timers alike.

Charcuterie Galore 🧀🍇 And if that wasn't enough to make your taste buds dance, our spread featured a tantalizing array of charcuterie delights. From beautiful dates to ramen deviled eggs crafted by the ingenious Varun, beef tenderloin canapés, and charred cauliflower with a garlic aioli – each bite was a culinary masterpiece. Crispy potatoes accompanied by an amazing dip, scallops on potato pancakes with a caviar cream sauce, and the grand finale of mini mocha and vanilla blueberry-topped cheesecakes left us in a state of blissful food coma.

Burning Ritual Under the Stars 🔥🌌 But the night didn't stop at delicious bites. We set our sights on the future. A guided meditation grounded us in the moment, creating a profound connection with nature. The air was filled with the scent of burning wishes and the warmth of shared gratitude. We gathered around a blazing fire pit for a powerful burning ritual. With the Renewal Reflection guide in hand, we released past limitations into the flames, and as a collective, we whispered, "and so shall it be." 🌠 It was a moment of pure magic, surrounded by friends and under the twinkling stars.

As we wrapped up the night, our hearts were full of thanks for the space, the stars, and our wonderful hosts who made it all possible. Here's to an unforgettable New Year’s Eve and the beautiful journey that lies ahead in 2024! 🚀💖
